Taeku Lee is Bae Family Professor at Harvard University. His research focuses on racial and ethnic politics, public opinion and survey research, identity and inequality, and deliberative and participatory democracy. Lee's current projects include: a text on racial diversity and political inequality in the United States (with Zoltan Hajnal and Vincent Hutchings); a study of public opinion, democratic responsiveness, and financial regulation in six advanced Western democracies (with Pepper Culpepper); several papers on anti-Asian American sentiment and the political incorporation of Asian Americans. Like everyone else, he is also fretfully keen to better understanding what is happening to democracy in the United States.
